Scribing stories, writing features and reviewing hotels for the likes of Mr & Mrs Smith, Condé Nast Traveller and Country Life

I’ve been working as a freelance travel and lifestyle writer for over a decade now, honing my skills writing in-house content for brands such as Frances Loom and Rebecca Udall before a pivot towards travel features.

I’ve questioned Is Scandinavia the New Mediterranean, interviewed The Young British Flower Farmers Championing Sustainable Growing, and pondered How Surfing Became a Cornerstone of Cornish Culture for Country Life. I’ve written about the Norwegian concept of friluftslivthe benefits of wild swimming and how slow travel can improve your health for Small Luxury Hotels of the World’s editorial platform, Swoon. And I’ve also written about slow, sustainable and design-led luxury travel for independent magazines and hospitality brands, including interviewing hideaways owners for Kip Hideaways, scribing journeys for The Luminaire and contributing features to the likes of Mr & Mrs Smith and Staays.

I wrote a slow travel column for boutique travel website Hotel Weekend for several years, culminating in ghost-writing their coffee table book, Barefoot Living
