Travel & lifestyle writer
I’ve been working as a freelance travel writer for almost a decade, and writing in-house copy & content for lifestyle brands for over fifteen years. I’ve written about the Norwegian concept of friluftsliv, the benefits of wild swimming and how slow travel can improve your health for Small Luxury Hotels of the World. I wrote a slow travel column for boutique travel website Hotel Weekend for several years, culminating in ghost-writing their coffee table book, Barefoot Living. I’ve also written about slow and sustainable travel for a variety of independent magazines and hospitality brands, including interviewing hideaways owners and profiling UK-based cabins and cottages for Kip Hideaways.
