This summer has FLOWN by. How was it three months ago that I hopped over to Malta for a couple of days to stay at the just-opened @casabonavita for @countrylifemagazine?!
A batch of beautiful bath tubs, photographed this year from South Africa to the south coast of England. Some of these I had the pleasure of soaking in, windows flung upon, filled with everything from the finest salts to herbs freshly picked from the
Painted Lady, Swallowtail, Cleopatra & Clouded Yellow. Just four of the many, many butterflies spotted while shooting for @domainemadrona & @querubi_olive_oil earlier this summer.
24 hours in the middle of the woods on one of the hottest days of the year. Cooling off in an icy-cold spring-fed pond — then warming back up in the outdoor shower and tub. Picnics on the deck, feet dangling in the water. Badger spotting by day
My most favourite season of all has arrived … dahlia season! My first tiny bunches have been picked and popped in vases, and I’m dreaming of the days soon to come when I can’t pick the blooms quick enough. Nothing gives me more joy
